This body of work is a reflection of the complex interplay between human society and the natural world, as well as the virtual realities we construct to shield ourselves from uncomfortable truths. Through these pieces I aim to provoke contemplation on the environmental and societal crises that surround us. They delve into the idea of separate realities, drawing a parallel between the precarious situation and our own detachment from harsh realities. It highlights how we often choose to ignore tragedy and ecological destruction by immersing ourselves in virtual worlds. By portraying these issues side by side, I invite viewers to confront the sinking world we collectively inhabit.
